Reduction: In a reduction print the artist develops all colors from the same block. For each color pass the artist removes more material from the block. Each color in printed on top of the previous. The artist must print the entire edition as he or she works, because the printable area of the single block is reduced with each pass. |

Art Student Designs 2014 Cover for the Scholarship Awards Program
Balsa Sculptures>>>Drawings
The Advanced 3D Design students completed a two-part project where they were create a 3-dimensional sculpture with on 5 balsa sticks, Exacto knife, cutting mat and hot glue/Elmer’s glue. After the completed this task, then they were to draw it focusing on a single perspective.
Students were to use Line, Shape, Form, Space as well as Balance and Movement.
