Art Foundations 2 is an introductory, semester course provides a general background in three-dimensional design and composition emphasizing the fundamentals of materials, tools, and ideas used in art. It includes work in the following areas: printmaking, ceramics, art metals, sculpture, and art history. In addition to studio experiences, students will be given information in a variety of formats (video, lecture, demonstrations, Internet). Note taking is expected. Students may be required to purchase some materials.
