The Drawing Intensive art students are doing a series of artworks that deal with a variety of artistic practices. In their first sketchbook assignment students were asked to appropriate an found image and give it their own unique perspective. 

Appropriation is defined as borrowing someone else’s work and manipulating it through their own artistic influences, practice and ideas.
