Marty Carney, Artist in Residence at North High School during the 2016 Spring Semester, has been happily painting in his OpenSpaces Studio (room 17) over the the last week. His oil painting is taking shape, now one person at a time, as you can see in the three photos below:
Beyond painting, Marty continues to meet with Mr. Soik’s Honors Humanities II class as they are currently studying the Jewish and Christian movements and their impact on Western Civilization. There may yet be another ArtPlosion project on the horizon with the class before the end of the school year.
